We gather for weekly worship on Sunday mornings, starting at 10am. This always include songs of praise, learning together from the Bible, and prayer.
On the first Sunday of the month, we gather for our all age service, which is ideal for families with children. It is informal, creative and interactive. On most other Sunday mornings we gather for a service of Holy Communion.
A few times a year, there is a 5th Sunday in the month. On these mornings, the type of service varies - so check our list of services and events for more details.
Activities for children and young people
Minecraft and More is a new group for children in school years 4 - 7. It happens on Thursdays 5 -6:30pm at 70 Thanington Road. We eat together, do activities together in Minecraft, and talk together about life and faith. For more details click on "Get in touch" and send us a message.
Bell-ringing
Bell-ringing practice takes place on Tuesday evenings. They ring the bells on Sunday mornings before the church service. If you are interested in getting involved or learning to ring, click on "Get in touch" and send us a message.
Once a month, there is an opportunity to Come And Meet Each Other over lunch. This usually takes place in the church hall, although in the summer it may be held outdoors. The meal includes main, dessert, hot drinks and often chocolates too! Hiring the church and / or hall
The church and the small church hall can also be hired on a one-off or on a regular basis. The church is an historic building with good acoustics and comfortable chairs (not pews).
